Firm Background
Max E. Williams, AIA, AICP founded Williams Architects, Inc. (WAI) in 1982 to
provide architectural and planning services to public and private clients in the
Inland Empire. Prior to establishing WAI, Mr. Williams was a project architect
for Lewis Homes in their commercial, multi-family, and industrial divisions
where his expertise in development planning was utilized. His experience with
internationally renowned design firms also provided a solid base for planning and
design of major institutional facilities. M. Rene Glynn is principal/vice
president and has been with the firm for over ten years providing design
services to a variety of public and private clients for various types of
projects. Her emphasis is on design of public administration offices, corporate
office buildings, space planning, tenant improvements and interior design. The
Cucamonga Valley Water District is illustrative of her design skills and has won
the firm numerous design awards.
WAI has established an expertise in architecture and urban planning in both
public and private sectors. Within the public sector, WAI specializes in
institutional, governmental and educational projects. In the private sector, WAI
maintains expertise in office, retail, tenant improvements, and industrial
buildings.
